  1. I think the best children’s book I have read in a long time is “The Silver Skates” by Hans Christian Anderson, loved that book.

  2. My favorite children’s book is the “Very Hungry Caterpillar”. I was very excited to see how much my son loved it as well!

  3. It’s been a very long time since my children have listened to me read this book, but a favorite of both children was Goodnight Moon. It brings back fond memories just thinking about it. My daughter is reading James Patterson’s “Max” novels now. How time flies…
    Thanks for the wonderful giveaway.

  4. I love Donalisa Hensley’s books. Th first one I read was the Worry Glasses.
I also love Sherrill S. Cannons books, I just got the Magic Word I will be reading soon.

  5. My all time personal favorite would be Harry Potter series. But if you looking for a recent book, I lately reading netgalley of Lola Going Green. Its a good book for young girl to teach about family, friendship and the value of nature.

    • Congratulations! Rafflecopter just declared you the winner of the gift card. Thanks for entering. If You Give A Mouse A Cookie was a favorite in my home, too.

  6. My favorite children’s book has always been Anne of Green Gables by L. M. Montgomery, though I love of Montgomery’s stories!

    Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

  7. I loved Junie B. Jones books because every book started with, “Hi, My name is Junie B. Jones. The B. stands for Beatrice, except I don’t like Beatrice. I just like B. and that’s all.” I also loved Goodnight Moon so much that I memorized it 🙂

  8. My daughter loves all the YA James Patterson books.. that man is truly an astonishing writer. Thank you for giveaway chance. erikalrhodes at gmail dot com

  9. My 2 year old loves being read to. Right now his favorite is Go Dog Go, but I can’t wait to read him my favorites some day. The Harry Potter series is one I will definitely read to him.

  10. My 2 year old loves being read to. Right now his favorite is Go Dog Go, but I can’t wait to read him my favorites some day. The Harry Potter series is one I will definitely read to him.

  11. My favorite book this summer so far has been I’ll Follow The Moon by Stephanie Lisa Tara. Stunningly beautiful in both illustration & prose.

  12. My fave must be Teofrastus, which is by an Estonian author, and as far as I know, not translated to other languages. It’s about a cat who waits at a train station every day for his owner who never returns. One day he accidentally gets on the train and is taken to a new city. Life there is alien to him and almost gets him killed, but then someone finds and takes him home. At some point though, he gets separated again and this adventure leaves him beaten up and almost dead. This book has a happy ending, luckily. It may sound violent, but blood and gore isn’t really described. It’s a really sad and heartwarming tale which I read in 3rd or 4th grade. Cat’s POV is described realistically, as in he doesn’t talk or have clear thoughts as I remember, which I liked about this book.

  13. Some of my favorites include a new picture book I just received called How to Train your Train. It is so adorable!

I also like a middle grade book called A Smidgen of Sy; a chapter book series by Frances Watts called Ernie and Maude, Superheroes; the Loveabloe Lobo series by C.L. Murphy; and an early reader series clause Clyde, about a dog and his sock that have adventures when his owners, Mr. and Mrs. Shinyshoes leave for the day.

  14. Knuffle Bunny by Mo Willems is one of her favorites great book for 3-6 year olds. Great lesson learned in the book. About a child and a stuffed bunny that is lost and finally found; and is given to another child that is unhappy on an airplane. It really a touching story.
