My favorite book, as a child, was always “Charlotte’s Web” by E.B. White.
There are too many to list! A favorite I read to the kids is Dragons Love Tacos.
My fave must be Teofrastus, which is by an Estonian author, and as far as I know, not translated to other languages. It’s about a cat who waits at a train station every day for his owner who never returns. One day he accidentally gets on the train and is taken to a new city. Life there is alien to him and almost gets him killed, but then someone finds and takes him home. At some point though, he gets separated again and this adventure leaves him beaten up and almost dead. This book has a happy ending, luckily. It may sound violent, but blood and gore isn’t really described. It’s a really sad and heartwarming tale which I read in 3rd or 4th grade. Cat’s POV is described realistically, as in he doesn’t talk or have clear thoughts as I remember, which I liked about this book.
Goodnight moon

Murphy; and an early reader series clause Clyde, about a dog and his sock that have adventures when his owners, Mr. and Mrs. Shinyshoes leave for the day.
So many. Love the Harry Potter books. Love the Lion, the witch and the wardrobe (and the other chronicles of narnia books)
I love A Wrinkle in Time.
Knuffle Bunny by Mo Willems is one of her favorites great book for 3-6 year olds. Great lesson learned in the book. About a child and a stuffed bunny that is lost and finally found; and is given to another child that is unhappy on an airplane. It really a touching story.
